The three day intensive workshop from 10am-6pm- a full 24 hours of training - covers the fundamentals and advanced feature of iPhone development, enough material that after the workshop you should be able to develop your own iPhone application and upload it to the AppStore. The workshop is limited in size and features hands on exercises under the supervision of the instructor. The last workshop in Melbourne sold out very quickly so we suggest you not wait too long in registering if you are interested in taking the workshop.

Instructor Chris Padgham
Chris has been a computer programmer and teacher for over 30 years. He has a degree in Computer Science and post-graduate qualifications in Adult Learning and Psychology.
As well as a career programming in the corporate and government sectors, Chris has headed Computer Sciences at Collingwood TAFE and worked as a Senior Lecturer at Prime Computer where he specialised in educating on Operating Systems Programming and Compiler Theory and Engineering. For the last 20 years Chris has been running a successful IT consulting firm specialising in software development and IT project management.
Chris has been programming for the iPhone for a several years and has a number of apps in the AppStore (although, sadly, the purchase of the private island in the Bahamas is a little way off yet. As well as a detailed technical knowledge of programming for the iPhone Chris brings to the iPhone Bootcamp extensive experience in the commercialisation of computer software. You can expect the boot camp that Chris runs to be intense, fun, irreverent, interactive & most of all highly educational.
About the iPhone Boot Camp
The iPhone Boot camp is dedicated to teaching iPhone development and related iPhone development tools, such as Cocoa, Objective C and Open GL ES. It is arguable the largest and longest running iPhone workshop. It has trainings in over twenty cities and to date has taught over 1,500 developers since 2008 and they now have have dozens of apps in the app store, with some being very successful. Developers who have taken the workshop range from indpendent developer to company training for IBM, AOL, genentech, Stanford Research Institute, Thomson Reuter, AP, US Army, BBC etc.
Our instructors are all long time iPhone developers and experienced trainers with numerous apps in the app store. Most of our instructors have also written books on iPhone development and related subjects such as Obj-C programming
What should I bring with me?
- An Intel Macintosh computer
- XCode and the most recent version of the iPhone SDK installed on your Macintosh laptop
- An iPhone or iPod Touch, if you have one (optional)
- Basic programming knowledge, including object-oriented programming experience, such as Java,, NET, C, Visual Studio
- Familiarity with the Mac

No refund given 0-6 days before the course
All refunds are subject to a $25.00 service fee.
Switching Courses
Switching to a different workshop is allowed up to 14 days before the workshop for which you are registered. After 14 days, the above refund policy applies.
Enrollees will only be permitted to switch courses once.
Cancellation Policy
The iPhone Bootcamp reserves the right to cancel a workshop 30-days prior to the course start date due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. In the event that a cancellation is necessary, paid participants of the affected course will be transferred to an equivalent course of their choose or issued a full refund. If non-refundable hotel and/or airfare has been purchased the iPhone Boot Camp will refund up to $150 in non-refundable travel expenses provided such expenses can be substantiated with a receipt.
